The existing garden connection was mean, the windows over Balmoral slopes were small, and the verandah was too cramped to gather and appreciate the view. The alterations provide a generous deck to gather, glass to take in the view and elevated the lawn level so the deck flows easily to the garden. The elevated lawn also allowed views from the lawn not previously possible. Link
