Swell

Swell is located directly opposite Palm Beach. The close proximity to the salty breezes and spray meant the house was in need of renovation internally and externally.

After reinforcing the curved steel beams, the columns in the living room were removed, creating an unencumbered space. The mirror splashback in the kitchen captures the long horizon. A reading nook, which can be closed off with timber sliding panels provides flexibility of function within the open planned room. The powder room is tiled in mother of pearl and curves at the far end, focusing the gaze out the porthole to the horizon.
