The site is a north facing long, narrow site which overlooks Chinaman’s Beach through a canopy of Jacarandas and Angophoras.
The design affords the best access to northern sun to all living areas. An entry courtyard separates work space from living and buffers the house from the street.
Floating ceilings draw the eye upwards and provide a play of light on the walls and floor throughout the day. Similarly, the pool draws the eye and entices the swimmer to swim out under the Jacaranda and Eucalypts.
